As a maltese organisation, we the Malta Chamber of Planners (MaCP), are interested in participating in a project in Priority 2: EuroIslands as a partner. We are contacting you on the occasion of the new calls for proposals and interest in the ESPON 2013 Programme. Our University Research Centre of Spatial and Regional Development (SPARD) would like to participate in these new calls.
With regard to our experience and aims, our interests in ESPON 2013 lies in the field of Priority 1. relating to (1) Cities and urban agglomerations: their functionality and development opportunities for European competitiveness and cohesion , (2) Development opportunities in different types of rural areas, (3) Demographic and migratory flows affecting European regions and cities, (4) Territorial impact assessment of policies.
We have very much interest to the action a) Cross-thematic analysis (defining territorial potentials and challenges), including studies of territorial trends and prospective studies or partially the other themes.

My name is Mihai Voda, I am a PhD lecturer at Dimitrie Cantemir University from Targu Mures, Region Center, Romania. We are very interested to participate as a partener in the Climatic Change- ESPON programme. I`ve been in Africa so far to do some research about the Global Warming effects on Mount Kenya`s glaciers in collaboration with Nairobi University and I didn`t have time to find parteners for the ESPON programme.
